Position Summary:
We are seeking a Web Software Developer. The successful candidate will develop and implement complex internet and intranet applications on one or more platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, relational database, and Perl, Python, or PHP.
The application is written in PERL but web development experience is more important than PERL. We will consider developers with experience in similar languages, such as Python or PHP.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Working in an Agile process, using knowledge of Web 2.0 technologies, including JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, Ext JS, JSON, HTML, and XML.
- Knowledge of SQL and database design concepts.
- Write technical design documentation, perform code reviews and unit testing.
- support user, system, performance and regression testing efforts.
- Support system quality assurance and consistency with installation and security policy and standards.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in web application development – prefer full stack experience
- Experience with PERL, Python or PHP
- HTML/JavaScript/CSS
- Experience working with the customer to develop requirements
- Self-motivated person who takes the initiative to accomplish project goals
Required:
- Web development – HTML/CSS/JavaScript

- Basic Unix/Linux knowledge
- Desire to learn

- Oracle database and stored procedures
